1986-02-08: indigo girls are in the pink, the atlanta journal constitution:

they've been the opening act at the moonshadow for such notable performers as loudon wainwright iii, dave mason, and john sebastian and will open for donovan march 9. they'll be headlining a rare acoustic set at the harvestmoon saloon, where rock is the mainstay, on feb. 16-17. also on their schedule is a benefit concert for atlanta clergy and laity concerned at the little five points pub monday, feb. 10. they've done the background music for the theater emory production of sam shepard's "curse of the starving class," which opens friday, feb. 14, and, for the length of the run, also will be sharing the bill with "shepard shorts" during theater emory's rush hour and late night theater.
